In the run up to the spookiest night of the year, The Last Tuesday Society – an organisation devoted to exploring and furthering the esoteric, literary and artistic aspects of life in London and beyond – presents A Danse Macabre, a deliciously decadent party, on 29 October.
At this years Halloween ball, held in an ‘elaborate tented place of lust and disgust’ in London Bridge’s vaults, patrons will be encouraged to ‘put on their red shoes and dance to the music that was a hit before your mother was born’ in The Society’s star draped ballroom. Partake in some erotic life drawing with Kink Ink, enter the Torture Garden Operating Theatre or enjoy a long soak in The Society’s legendary Bathhouse.
Jive to DJ sets from Matthew Stone, Russell Taylor, Dickon Edwards, Penny Metal and Francois Dirty South or waltz to the music of the acclaimed London Gay Symphony Orchestra.
Famed for their outrageous and hedonistic balls (often ‘clothes optional’), as well as insightful lectures from guests such as Dan Cruickshank to Vivienne Westwood, The Last Tuesday Society never fail to deliver a night of sophisticated elegance and debauched fun.
Dress code: The Beautiful and The Damned.
