I really like to meet people, talk to them and then write their story.

My great pleasures in life are seaside living, my grandmothers, my bicycle, and exploring the unknown. The only thing that I fear are heights.

I unashamedly love clothes but rarely pay attention to the ‘latest trends’. This is why I set up my previous site, Vintage Secret.

I spent my teens moving around Europe and my 20s immersed in vintage. This produced a book Style Me Vintage, Clothes.

In my London incarnation I worked as a stylist and personal shopper. I’m a total shopping pro and champion of the indie shop. I write a mean shopping guide. Would you like me to write one for your town?

Nowadays I am based in my home town of Portsmouth where I spend most of my time pestering potential guest speakers and producing the radio show for the Southsea Sisters woman’s group which I set up in 2012.

I can still be found running around London with the Vintage Mafia. We like to organise a good night out.

I have a special interest in cultural events in London, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, vintage everything, experimental cuisine, street food, mental health, well being, social media, online shopping, cycling, organic beauty, British made fashion, repro clothing, emotional intelligence, personal development, charities and travel. I enjoy writing about these things. I’m not especially keen on celeb culture*, trends, TV, plastic surgery, dieting, mass produced high street fashion, jean straps or blindly promoting a brand.

*though I do love Kim’s bum and Christina’s boobs
